"I'm reading this because...I'm bored at work." Do you see how this exercise can peel away several layers of thinking in a brief space of time? If you, like this person, tend to sabotage your own wishes, then this exercise may help to show you just how you block your own path to fulfillment. Do you find that you are afraid to go for what you really want? Why do you think that is? Perhaps you need to write about times when you did this. This is just one example of one exercise I use. I have, literally, hundreds, some of which may involve drawing, or collage making, also. Writing for self-exploration can be used in as many ways as there are people doing the exercises. What's next?
